Biography
Born and raised in Arizona, Emma Stone’s desire to pursue a career as an actress kicked in at an exceedingly early age. To that end, her parents signed her up for a stint at the nearby Valley Youth Theater, which also counts American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and Stomp the Yard star Columbus Short among its alumni. There, she made her debut at the tender age of 11 in a production of The Wind in the Willows, and eventually went on to appear in over a dozen more plays at the theater. A few years later, Emma made it clear that she wanted to give acting a real shot, and the aspiring actress subsequently moved to Los Angeles with her mother.
Emma Stone’s big break came in 2004, when she won the role of Laurie Partridge on a VH1 reality show entitled In Search of the New Partridge Family. The ensuing program, The New Partridge Family, never made it past its pilot episode, but this didn’t stop Emma from hitting the audition circuit with a vengeance. Emma spent the next several months appearing as a guest star on a number of popular shows, including Medium, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Malcolm in the Middle, until she finally landed a recurring role on a new Fox drama called Drive. Though the program was canceled after just three airings, Emma quickly bounced back with a prominent role in the surprise summer ’07 hit Superbad (in which she starred opposite future superstars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera).

In 2008, Emma Stone worked on the comedy The Rocker, appearing alongside Rainn Wilson and Christina Applegate. She was also a part of the funny flick The House Bunny, starring Anna Faris, Kat Dennings and (of course) Hugh Hefner.
In January 2009, this Arizona beauty was ranked No. 93 on AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2009 list.
