Married to Hadi Riad Sharara with 2 lovely kids Jean -Michel 13 years
old & Aghia -Maria 3 years old. Started singing at the age of 16 , when
she met with Hadi Sharara and later composed a band called ZED. ZED was
in the right place at the right time, giving hope to the Lebanese youth
at the time where the war was ravishing the country and the only way out
was ZED' songs, concerts and simply their existence. 1988 Karol represented LEBANON in the song festival SOPOT 88 in POLAND and won the third prize among 27 participating countries. 1989 Karol and Hadi signed with POLYDOR France and released a single CD "JEALOUS" in EUROPE . 1990 due to war , ZED split-up , and its members were dispatched all around the world. Karol flew to Australia and resided there for 5 years, where she participated in a the TV program " STAR SEARCH" and won the first prize after 10 long consecutive weeks. 1992 Karol flew to FLORIDA USA and participated in the AMERICAN STAR SEARCH and won the 2nd place. 1994 she came back to LEBANON and met again with Hadi and started making TV advertisement together for LBC and ZEIN TV, MBC FM .....composed by Hadi & sang by Karol and together they made over 500 TV & radio spots. 1996 Karol & Hadi signed with BMG records and with the help of Mr Georges Makhzoumi & their manager Mr Roger Gaspar ( CEO Radio one -LEBANON) , Karol & Hadi flew to UK and recorded their second album untitled "AWAY"and they were awarded the GOLDEN album for sales. 1997 Karol & Hadi represented LEBANON in ROMANIA "BRASOV MUSIC FESTIVAL" along with CHIRSTINA AGUILERA from USA and others . 2002 Karol & Hadi got married and they made a pledge of continuing their unfinished business by reaching the their goal in the Arabic music industry. 2004 the major hit "OULI JAYI" a duet between the Lebanese singer ASSI AL HELLANI & KAROL SAKR was born , big thanks to ASSI , Karol entered the AMI through its big gate and won herself a place inside that vicious circle. ( Karol is forever grateful to Assi 's initiative and wishes him all the luck in the world )... 2005 Karol signed with ROTANA and promised them a whole new path in the AMI. 2006 " DA'IT ALBAK" a CD composed of 8 arabic songs saw the light. 1- Da'et Albak 2- Ya Albi Rou' 3- Bmout Alayk 4- Sahart Ouyouni 5- Tammintini 6- Shou Baddak 7- Wayn Bla'eek 8- Hakini متزوّج مِنْ Hadi رياض Sharara مَع طفلين رائعينِ جين - ميتشل
بعمر 13 سنةً وAghia - ماريا بعمر 3 سنوات. بَدأَ بالغِنَاء في عُمرِ 16،
عندما إجتمعتْ بHadi Sharara وهادئة لاحقاً a يَرْبطُ مسمّى زيد. زيد كَانَ
في المكان والوقت الصحيحين، يَعطي الأملَ إلى الشابِ اللبنانيِ في ذلك
الوقت حيث كان الحرب يَنْهبُ البلادَ والمخرجَ الوحيدَ كَانَ زيد ' أغاني،
حفلات موسيقية وببساطة وجودهم. |
