Katie Holmes to launch clothing line for no apparent reason

This past week, it was announced that Tom Cruise–accessory Katie Holmes is going to launch a clothing line with Armani.
It was unclear as to why.
The line will begin with a toddler collection, followed by a children’s line, and then a women’s handbag collection.
Holmes’ fashion credentials consist of having a makeover by Posh Spice. Lacking her own identity, Holmes has since become a pale echo of Beckham, which thereby caused the masses to brand Holmes a “style icon” for lack of a more generic term.
