Lying on a bed in a small room in a residential area of Vienna, I endeavour to suppress my squeals as three fat leeches crawl across my knee, and feast on my blood.
I’m trying hard to put out of my mind the words of my Austrian doctor, who confided that: “A lot of places won’t do the leech treatment as it can be quite dangerous”. And I’m cursing Demi Moore. This is all her fault.
You see, the American actress appeared on David Letterman’s U.S. chat show earlier this week, waxing lyrical about a great therapy she had discovered.
