‘Beyonce Knowles & Jay-Z’s Wedding Was Like Heaven’

The wedding of Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z was a glamourous event, with the couple adorning their reception location with dozens of flowers and luxury garlands imported from Thailand especially.
Amy Vongpitaka, florist for the special occasion revealed she only had one week’s notice to adorn Jay-Z’s apartment with orchids ready for the party.
However, despite the short timeframe, she decorated the venue exquisitely. She tells Us magazine: “It made the apartment like a heaven, like a palace.”
The newlyweds also ordered lots of foot-long garlands to drape around the $8 million, 9,000-square-foot apartment.
“Beyonce requested the specific look of the bloom,” Vongpitaka revealed. “You know in a palace where things hang down from a chandelier, that’s what they tried to do with the flowers.
