The 27-year-old mezzo-soprano was signed by Montblanc to be an “ambassador” for its lines of jewellery.
But she is barred by the Swiss-owned pen maker from going anywhere without being accompanied by a squad of heavies.
“The diamonds come with six bodyguards,” she said at Hay, where she is promoting her autobiography Time To Say Hello.
