Britney Spears reportedly has a new boyfriend.
The singer made her first formal public appearance in months at Ed Hardy owner Christian Audigier’s 50th birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday (24.05.08), accompanied by Jason Trewick.
Jason - who, according to sources, has known Britney “for years” - has been getting closer to the singer since her recent holiday in Costa Rica.
The new romance has received the blessing of Britney’s father, Jamie, who sees him as a “stabilising influence”.
A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jamie thinks Jason would be a great match for Britney.
