Jessica Alba muses over idea that she stole Ashlee Simpson’s thunder

Jessica Alba - whose wedding last week to Cash Warren was so secret that not even her brother or father knew about it* - was snapped here on Friday, looking gorgeous in a dressed-down kinda way, in a white shirt, jeans, cosy cardi and gorgeous brown hat.

And back at that secret wedding: a leading showbiz publicist has told MSNBC that “if you’re going to get pregnant, then get married, this is the way to do it.”

“On the same day that Jessica’s wedding was announced, people were hearing the early details about Ashlee [Simpson]’s wedding. They’re wondering whether she’s pregnant under that dress, while the Jessica Alba’s fans are just happy for her,” says the PR - adding that Jessica’s publicist Brad Cafarelli used to be the publicist for Ashlee and Jessica Simpson. The plot thickens!

Nicole Richie sees Ashlee Simpson get married

Nicole Richie was a guest at Ashlee Simpson’s wedding on Saturday night.

Nicole and Joel Madden enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland themed wedding.

Ashlee wore an ivory wedding dress by designer Monique Lhuillier.

It was a family wedding, Ashlee’s dad performed the service and Jessica Simpson was maid of honour.

Ashlee and Pete even let their bulldog be ring bearer.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz get married, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo get back together

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied the knot yesterday - in what People magazine calls an Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding. Which doesn’t mean that the bride disappeared down a hole halfway through… but does mean that they had a wedding cake decorated with a top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers.

Ashlee’s dress was an ivory lace gown by Monique Lhuillier - accessorised by a diamond necklace and earrings (natch) - and Jessica, her sister, was her maid of honour. Pete’s English bulldog, Hemingway, meanwhile, was the ring-bearer. See, you can’t buy class like that.

Ashlee Simpson Calls Britney Spears ‘Trashy’

Ashlee Simpson says Britney Spears is “trashy.”

“In an interview the other day, they asked me what I thought, ‘You’ve had one too many Britney Spears’ means,” Ashlee said, according to OK!Magazine.com. “I was like, ‘What?’ And they said it means you’ve had one too many beers. I was like, ‘Oh, you’ve had one too many trashy girls!’”

The incident happened when Simpson was answering a question while appearing on The Nokia Green Room a London music show.

Ashlee Simpson on Jessica, and staying in shape

Ashlee Simpson spoke to Extra about her upcoming album, double-dating with sister Jessica, her secret to staying in shape and how she handles difficult times including one lip synching fiasco.

As for how she came up with the name of her album, Simpson reveals, “I decided to call the record Bittersweet World….With the good comes the bad…Sometimes it’s a little bitter at the beginning and you hope it ends up sweet. It was a play on words.”

Simpson believes that her much-publicized lip synching performance three years ago on Saturday Night Live has only made her stronger exclaiming, “I’d love to do Saturday Night Live again! I feel like last time I went back I conquered it.”
