A list of the most stylish teen stars has been compiled and it looks like the young power couple of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have both made the proverbial cut.

Perhaps some good natured ribbing of High School Musical 3 costar Ashley Tisdale is in order.

It seems trouble can follow anyone, even the famous these days! Veteran actress and singer Ashley Tisdale was embarrassed by recent events that happened on the stage of her recent movie filming ‘High School Musical 3.’

The movie is a Disney film currently being readied for release by Disney Studios. It is the third in a series of silly teen musicals that generate hard numbers for the studio. It also has given credence to a whole new generation of teen-throb performers.

“High School Musical” Star Ashley Tisdale Stars In New Movie

“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale is making her feature-film debut in a coming-of-age comedy but it won’t be seen on the big screen. The movie, called “Picture This,” is going straight to DVD.

The film, which will be released July 22, is part of the new direct-to-video movement from MGM DTV. The company entered the direct-to-video business in January 2007 and aims at attracting young and men women to the movie because the title is familiar or the cast is appealing to them.

Enter Tisdale, who also appears on the Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.” The star liked the script and agreed to do the project.

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale’s LAX Departure

Best friends and co-stars  Ashley Tisdale and  Vanessa Hudgens joined up on Monday afternoon, as Disney duo were departing out of LAX airport.

It’s believed that the teenage stars were leaving to start filming the latest installment of their successful film franchise - High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, HSM 3 is the story of “Seniors in high school, Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) struggle with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.”

Wearing her blonde locks up in a ponytail,  Ashley Tisdale ventured out in Toluca Lake on Sunday - eating breakfast at Chez Nous with her sister before making her way to the recording studio with her mother.

The radiant young actress, known for her role as Sharpay in the hit Disney show High School Musical, was originally a brunette - but credits getting her big break to changing her hair color to its current blonde shade.

Tisdale revealed in an interview: “It suits my personality. I guess I was a brunette with a blonde personality. I have been blonde for a while now.”

Now, the High School Musical star is admitting that her blonde hair is also as fake as Heather Mills‘ leg. In a recent interview, Tisdale explained why she lightened her locks:
“It suits my personality. I guess I was a brunette with a blonde personality. I have been blonde for a while now,” Ashley said.

The 22-year-old costar of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens added:

And although the jokes say otherwise, the 22-year-old actress insists, “Blondes aren’t dumb. I am smart and I don’t think all of us are ditzy.”

But Tisdale, who plays bratty Sharpay in the hit teen made-for-TV-movie, swears she’s nothing like her character. She also insists that she is determined to avoid young Hollywood’s decadent lifestyle.

Ashley Tisdale is All Over the Place

There’s definitely something to be said for the role that youth plays in helping young Hollywood keep up with the breakneck pace that’s required of them.  And as  Ashley Tisdale’s schedule gets more and more packed, she seems to be rising to the occasion quite well.

Yesterday the “High School Musical” beauty was spotted spending some quality time with her boyfriend, Jared Murillo.  They stopped for a smoothie and McDonalds before heading over to Sony Studios via Tizzie’s Porsche.

Earlier in the day, the “Picture This!” cutie was consumed with a wardrobe session for her next project- “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” And she was in good company, bringing her little pooch with her.
