Pete Doherty buys a Kate Moss painting, pays a visit to Amy Winehouse

..Which is all in the course of a normal night out for Pete Doherty, of course.

Here was Pete arriving at Amy Winehouse’s pad last night - or rather, in the early hours of this morning - after he’d splashed out £5,000 to buy a portrait of his former girlfriend, Kate Moss, says Metro.

“The drug-frazzled singer also splashed out on a painting of wayward chum, Amy Winehouse and another of himself together with former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney.” Well, nice to know he stopped off at the artist muse’s residence later, eh?

Kate Moss for Topshop

Kate Moss’ latest collection went on sale in Topshop’s Oxford Circus flagship in London this morning and caused a shopping frenzy.
The sexiness of this high summer collection, combined with a return of high temperatures, ensured the clothes sold like hot cakes - especially the dresses.

Two hundred of the coveted red pansy dresses, for example, were sold in the first hour and a half.

Other favourites included a striped 50’s style ‘prom’ frock and a Rajasthani-style printed cotton halter-neck.

Kate Moss: Model Day

She’s the picture of longevity in the modeling industry, and  Kate Moss is still one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry today.

The British babe was spotted striking a pose or two during a photo shoot in East London yesterday.  And she looked stellar in a khaki trench coat with tousled locks and her trademark “don’t mess with me” persona.

And it seems the rumors that have been going around regarding an end to Moss’ contract with Rimmel London are completely false.  It turns out the cosmetics brand isn’t going to sign pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor after all.

Kate Moss flies in comfort *and* style

Kate Moss returned to Los Angeles from Miami yesterday - and as you can see, her ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ school of style was the order of the day. Again.

Wearing her favourite flared jeans, black jacket, white T-shirt and Wayfarer sunglasses, she was dressed for comfort as well as style - as you can tell by what look suspiciously like her favourite Mukluks under those favourite flared jeans.

In fact, she looks not unlike Elle Macpherson.

Kate Moss’ Wardrobe Woes

It’s no secret that supermodels are under constant scrutiny and pressure to look their best.  And during a recent day of traveling,  Kate Moss’s wardrobe got a little bit rough.

The English fashion icon was spotted at Miami International Airport yesterday on her way out Los Angeles.  And the paparazzi got a little more than they’d bargained for as she went through security.

As Miss Moss bent over to remove her shoes, her pants slid down a bit, revealing her thong underwear, as well as a tattoo.

Flying low: Best dressed Kate Moss suffers a wardrobe malfunction

She may have the world’s best dressed woman title under her belt, but it seems even Kate Moss suffers the odd unfashionable wardrobe malfunction.

The supermodel was snapped arriving at Los Angeles Airport from Miami yesterday, dressed in a white top and dark jacket, and figure hugging jeans - with the fly open.

It seems as if in all the excitement of being back in LA, Miss Moss had forgotten to zip her fly up.

But even her recent wardrobe hiccup can’t take the shine off her Best Dressed woman accolade.

Moss often rates well in best dressed ratings having topped another celebrity best-dressed list, this time in Glamour magazine.

She came in at number four in 2007, but this year beat previous winner Kylie into 19th place.

Kylie Minogue loses best-dressed slot after X Factor catsuit nightmare

KYLIE Minogue has been ousted as Britain’s bestdressed woman - thanks to a hideous catsuit she wore on X Factor.

The pop star, 34, was dumped from the top spot by Kate Moss, and only made it into 19th place.

And Glamour magazine, who compiled the list, blamed it on the lacey black catsuit she wore on stage with eventual winner Leon Jackson.

It was a return to best dressed woman for Moss, who held the title for three years until 2007.

Magazine editor Jo Elvin said of the model: “Kate’s back with a vengeance.

Designer sees Katherine Jenkins in a range of her own

KATHERINE JENKINS would be an ideal choice to front the next celebrity fashion collection, says A-list Welsh designer Julien Macdonald.

The likes of supermodel Kate Moss and singer Lily Allen have brought out successful high-street collaborations in recent years, but so far no one from Wales has joined them.

Now Julien, a friend of Katherine’s, says the 27-year-old singer would be a perfect candidate.

He said, “Katherine has an effortless elegance about her, she’s idolised by men and by women all over the world and she’s a fantastic role model for people.

“She loves colour, she loves clothes and she loves design.”

Although she is well established as one of the country’s most important classical stars, in recent months Katherine has been gaining a reputation in the fashion world.

Nude Gisele Bundchen For Sale

Images of Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss, Bridget Bardot and Lauren Hutton are to be auctioned at Christie’s on April 10.

The 135-piece collection of prints belongs to collector Gert Elfering and includes photographs shot by of Richard Avedon, Man Ray, Diane Arbus, Helmut Newton and Horst P Horst. In total, it has a price tag of £1.5 to £2 million, Vogue UK reports.

Both the Gisele and Moss images - which were taken by Irvin Penn in black and white - are expected to go under the hammer for £15,000 to £20,000 each.

So apparently theres this bird called Kate or something who is quite popular in the fashion world? And then there’s this other girl called Laura (who prefers to be called Agyness) who’s also quite well known for going to parties in amazing get-ups and looking like an electro princess on the cover of Vogue. Yep, that’s right. Kate Moss for Topshop goes into it’s five hundred and twentieth season now (or that’s what it feels like) as Kate paddles about in the sea in yet another tea dress that I shouldn’t like but secretly do. She’s also bringing us school blazers with pinstripe linings, loadsa jeans, long dresses that don’t look good unless you’re, er, Kate Moss, and some boho stuff that’s a bit Sienna Miller circa 2004.
