Now that Britney Spears is on the road to getting her life back together, she’s enjoying the benefits of seeing her kids more, and as a result, seeing more of her ex-husband Kevin Federline. And according to K-Fed’s law man Mark Vincent Kaplan, there could be a friendship sparking.

During an appearance on the Today show, Kaplan shed some light on the potentially-friendly arrangement between the “Gimme More” singer and her ex.

Miley Cyrus showed signs of further rebellions as she defended Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears’ wild behaviour, insisting that it’s “normal” for young stars to go off the rails.

The Hannah Montana actress, who caused shockwaves after going against her good girl image and posing in some racy photos for Vanity Fair, believes that LiLo and Brit Brit have “good hearts”.

She says: “Everyone has their time. And I think most 21- to 25-year-olds go through this kind of thing. Basically, they’re being normal 21-year-olds, especially Lindsay (Lohan).

Britney Spears could visit “Mother” a third time

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Three times may be the charm for Britney Spears and “How I Met Your Mother.”

With Spears making her second guest appearance on the abruptly popular CBS comedy, the show’s co-creator, Craig Thomas, tells THR.com that Monday’s episode was written to leave the door open for the pop singer to make a return appearance next season.

“She was better than the first time, and I think the fans will enjoy it because her return answers a larger mystery set up earlier in the series,” Thomas said. “So there’s a good plot reason why she’s there. And when people watch Britney’s second appearance on the show they’ll see that the door is still open for her to come back.”

Ashlee Simpson says Britney Spears is “trashy.”

“In an interview the other day, they asked me what I thought, ‘You’ve had one too many Britney Spears’ means,” Ashlee said, according to OK!Magazine.com. “I was like, ‘What?’ And they said it means you’ve had one too many beers. I was like, ‘Oh, you’ve had one too many trashy girls!’”

The incident happened when Simpson was answering a question while appearing on The Nokia Green Room a London music show.

Britney Spears expected in court for custody hearing

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Exactly three months have passed since Britney Spears slipped away from a psychiatric ward and promptly stirred up a paparazzi car chase, a scene that looked like the beginning of even more erratic behavior for the troubled pop star.

In the weeks that followed, Spears started acting out of character, all right: She laid low and avoided the cameras. She spent time with family members. She found work, and succeeded at it.

With that stability and momentum to build on, it would appear Spears’ child-custody hearing Tuesday has the potential for a positive outcome — as long as she gets it together to show up this time. All indications are that she will.

The troubled 26-year-old pop star, who has been under the conservatorship of her father since her one-week-early release from UCLA Medical Center, is expected to attend the custody status hearing in a downtown courthouse with her parents. Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, will also attend, said his spokesman, Elliot Mintz.

Lindsay Lohan will try to put sunny spin on tainted career in ‘Ugly Betty’ season finale.

When Britney Spears’ guest starred on CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” the appearance pushed the show’s ratings to an all-time high.

No surprise then that another celebrity whose career is in a free fall should end up guest-starring on a series during May sweeps.

You’ve heard it for months, but it was finally confirmed today that Lindsay Lohan will now appear on NBC’s “Ugly Betty.”

Lindsay Lohan will appear on the May 22 season finale and possibly five episodes next season, according to Variety. Her first day of shooting was today (Saturday, May 3rd.)

From what we hear, she’ll play a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty Suarez (America Ferrera), who wasn’t very nice to Betty in those days.

Britney Spears has returned to the home of her youth – Kentwood, Louisiana.

Britney departed from California on Friday, according to People. Her father, Jamie Spears, also made the trip to Kentwood.

It is believed Britney and Jamie are visiting the Louisiana locale in order to attend a baby shower for Jamie Lynn Spears, who is pregnant.

Neal Patrick Harris didn’t slam Britney Spears. Honest.

“How I Met Your Mother” actor Neal Patrick Harris says that his comment about “stunt casting”was not a slam against Britney Spears.

No, really.

He had publicly expressed reservations about “stunt casting,” which was interpreted as a smackdown for Spears’ small role as a secretary smitten with the show’s lead character, Ted Mosby.

“My words were misconstrued,” he tells the Chicago Sun Times. “I think she was a huge get for us and it was amazing to work with her,” he says. “We hope she will be coming back soon.”
