Black Eyed Peas Man Teams Up With Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole

Girl’s Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has recorded vocals on Will.i.am’s new single, ‘Heartbreaker’, it’s been revealed.

Cole, who also appears in the video for the single, met the former Black Eyed Peas rapper whilst filming a TV show for Girls Aloud in Los Angeles.

In the programme, entitled ‘Passions Of Girls Aloud’, Cole trained to become a hip-hop dancer.

‘Heartbreaker’ is the follow-up to Will.i.am’s controversial single ‘Yes We Can’, on which voiced support for Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

went belly up, Cheryl Cole wouldn’t be short of ways to earn the spondoolies.

After achieving her ambition to become a street dancer in The Passions of Girls Aloud, Cheryl auditioned for the new Will.I.Am video - and got the job!

Here she is, in the middle of shaking that booty for all she’s worth - and wearing some cute threads while she’s at it (see, I can do the lingo).

The tune’s pretty dull, but Chezza does her best to liven it up by doing backing vocals for the Black Eyed Peas frontman. Which must have been exciting for her, eh?

Music DVD Review: Janet Jackson - Live in Hawaii (Re-Release)

Janet Jackson’s Live in Hawaii is a sizzling scorcher of a concert that was first released on DVD in September of 2002. Filmed at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, the concert was the last stop on Janet’s 2001 All for You tour and featured songs from most of her albums. HBO originally aired the show, which was a ratings dynamo as watched by over 12 million households. Now, Eagle Rock Entertainment is re-releasing the concert DVD for fans that may not have caught it the first time around.

The sales of the All for You album were around two-million copies, representing a drop-off from previous albums. Nevertheless, the title song was a considerable hit on radio and Janet’s popularity continued to be unquestionable. The apparent disappointment of The Velvet Rope tour was still fresh on the minds of most critics as the All for You tour began.
It was initially slated to be an international excursion, but after the events of September 11 the majority of the intercontinental leg was cancelled. Janet did do four Japanese dates in January of 2002 before returning to the United States for the rest of the tour. The Honolulu show found on the DVD is from February 16, 2002.

Elisha Cuthbert Puts on “Ny-Lon” for CBS

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 3/27/08 – Though she is best known for her big-screen appearances in movies like “The Girl Next Door” and “Old School,” comely Canadian Elisha Cuthbert is hoping to make a big splash on the small screen with a lead role in the CBS pilot “Ny-Lon.”

“Ny-Lon,” adapted from the short-lived 2004 British drama of nearly the same name (“NY-LON”), will follow the transatlantic romance between Cuthbert’s character, Edie Miller, a literacy teacher from New York, and her boyfriend, Michael Antonioni, a stock broker from London (hence the title of the series).

Elisha Cuthbert cast on CBS romantic comedy

Jack Bauer’s daughter is trading in angst for romance. Actress Elisha Cuthbert has been cast on the CBS pilot Ny-Lon. That’s the one-hour romantic-drama-with-comedy based on the British series of the same name that aired on the Channel 4 TV in 2004 (only there it was called NY-LON; apparently the American version is initial cap only).

In Ny-Lon, Elisha plays Edie Miller, a free-spirited, New Yorker who works in a record store and also moonlights as a literacy teacher. On a trip to London, she meets a British stock broker, Michael. Their whirlwind romance leads to their deciding to try a cross-continental love affair. In the UK show, Rashida Jones, currently on Unhitched, but also well-known as Karen on The Office, played the role of Edie.

Elisha Cuthbert to Star in Ny-Lon

Elisha Cuthbert is heading back to the small screen, this time for CBS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cuthbert has signed on to star as the lead of a one-hour pilot entitiled Ny-Lon. This is an adaptation of the British series NY-LON, and this new version also stars Caterina Scorsone and Johnny Whitworth.

The series centers on an across-the-pond romance between a New York teacher (Cuthbert) and a London stockbroker. Scorsone will play Edie’s roommate, a promiscuous rocker and Whitworth will play Edie’s ex-boyfriend.

Elisha Cuthbert is returning to television as the female lead in CBS’ one-hour pilot “Ny-Lon.”

Also cast in the ABC Studios-produced adaptation of the British series are Caterina Scorsone and Johnny Whitworth.

Additionally, Rachel Boston has landed a role on another CBS drama pilot, “Mythological Ex.”

“Ny-Lon” centers on Edie (Cuthbert), a New York literacy teacher/record store clerk, and Michael, a London stock broker, who embark on a cross-continental romance.

Scorsone (”1-800-Missing”) will play Edie’s roommate, a slutty, bohemian rocker. Whitworth (”CSI: Miami”) will play Edie’s rocker ex-boyfriend.

Fast flirt for Dannii Minogue with Lewis Hamilton

AUSTRALIAN Grand Prix race-winner Lewis Hamilton picked up more than a giant bottle of fizz in Melbourne at the weekend.

The 23-year-old F1 pin-up boy was seen getting up close and personal with Danni Minogue, at off-track soirees and, according to a source, he was “loving” our Danni despite looking quite taken with Miss Australia Caroline Pemberton just a day earlier.

It is no wonder sparks flew between Danni and Lewis — the pair have plenty in common. Lewis has a well-known fancy for older ladies and prior to flirting with 36-year-old Danni, he dated Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, 30.

And Kylie’s little sister has a well-documented eye for F1 drivers. She was previously engaged to to retired driver Jacques Villeneuve.

We were baffled by photos of Demi Moore hiding her flawless face behind a leather bag while out with Ashton in L.A. Is this the same woman who has appeared on magazine covers wearing nothing but paint?

Turns out, Demi wasn’t being demur.

Temperley London sent out a chipper press release after the savvy bit of product placement, announcing that Demi was carrying a “black Temperley London Gigi snake-printed tote from the Spring/Summer ‘08 Collection.” In front of her face. Where, you know, cameras are often pointed.
