Rihanna takes a bow at number one

has stormed to the top of the singles chart with Take a Bow.

The R’n'B singer stole the top spot from the Ting Tings, who slipped down one to two with That’s Not My Name.

However, there was some good news for the Tings - they shot straight to number one in the album chart with We Started Nothing.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, stayed put at three with Four Minutes, while Will I Am, featuring , was firm at four with Heartbreaker.

Yep, there’s evidence that singer is taking revenge on hubby and Chelsea ace Ashley Cole; notw.co.uk published of Cheryl kissing another man.

Cheryl and Ashley Cole are probably on the verge of separation. Earlier this year The Sun reported that Ashley Cole had been sleeping with several other women during their relationship, this despite wifey Cheryl was named “Sexiest Footballer’s Wife” by FHM in 2006.

The two, who married in July 2006, appeared to be headed to imminent separation after the news leaked; However, they have since got back together… well, at least until this morning.

Will.I.Am Tips Cheryl Cole To Replace Fergie

Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.I.Am has a back up plan in case singer ever decides to leave the group - he will replace her with British pop star . The My Humps hit-makers are currently on hiatus while various members of the group pursue solo projects - but plan on getting back together for future albums and tours.

However, will.i.am recently collaborated with Cole on his new single Heartbreaker and he insists that if decides not to rejoin them, Cole would be first in line to take her place.

Cheryl Cole finding it hard to write about marriage troubles

is reportedly having a hard time writing her section of the autobiography.

Cheryl and her bandmates Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, and Kimberley Walsh, have signed a £500,000 to write up their own account of their pop stardom - from the band’s formation on the Popstars: The Rivals talent show to forthcoming arena tour this summer. But as well as their professional success, the book will also discuss their personal lives - which is where Cheryl has run into difficulties.

Black Eyed Peas Man Teams Up With Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole

Girl’s Aloud singer has recorded vocals on Will.i.am’s new single, ‘Heartbreaker’, it’s been revealed.

Cole, who also appears in the video for the single, met the former Black Eyed Peas rapper whilst filming a TV show for in Los Angeles.

In the programme, entitled ‘Passions Of ’, Cole trained to become a hip-hop dancer.

‘Heartbreaker’ is the follow-up to Will.i.am’s controversial single ‘Yes We Can’, on which voiced support for Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

After achieving her ambition to become a street dancer in The Passions of , Cheryl auditioned for the new Will.I.Am video - and got the job!

Here she is, in the middle of shaking that booty for all she’s worth - and wearing some cute threads while she’s at it (see, I can do the lingo).

The tune’s pretty dull, but Chezza does her best to liven it up by doing backing vocals for the Black Eyed Peas frontman. Which must have been exciting for her, eh?

While she was in LA filming a reality TV show for ITV2 last week, her sultry looks proved a massive hit.

Cheryl, 24, had dropped to six stone over the stress of husband Ashley’s cheating. Ironically the new choc snack she is helping to plug is a low calorie version.
