Though not a truly bad movie the one thing 21 doesn’t get right is to create that classic scene that embodies a moment in a casino that will live on in your memory long
after the screen image has faded. There’s something almost cinematic about taking a risk, and some movies come up trumps.

# Ben (Jim Sturgess), in 21, isn’t the only one counting cards. Though he may not quite have Ben’s sharp dress sense, Dustin Hoffman’s autistic Raymond, in Rain Man, almost cleans out the house at the blackjack table. Considering he and his brother, Charlie (Tom Cruise in a role that showed he can act), are about to be separated, the moment they leave the casino side by side (with the cash) is pretty poignant.

The man who shaped Demi Moore

New York (ANI): Celebrity trainer Robb Parr, who has moulded the likes of Madonna and Naomi Watts to get into shape, has revealed that he turned Demi Moore from a fat-kneed, thunder-thighed girl into a ravishing knockout babe. Moore’s former trainer Parr has claimed that when the actress came to him, she needed some major work on her legs and he whipped her into shape.

In his upcoming exercise book, “Star Quality,” Parr divulged how he worked on the ‘Ghost’ beauty to make her look stunningly slim on screen. “[Demi] lacked a defined waist, carried too much meat on her thighs, and was, by movie-star standards, thick overall. To taper her waist, we decided to accentuate her shoulders, creating a V-shape. We trimmed her thighs, shaving off some of the excess fat from above her knees, and accentuated her butt, further emphasizing her waist,” the New York Post quoted him, as writing in the book.

Demi Moore Joins Parker Posey and Josh Hartnett in Upcoming Films

Husky-voiced actress Demi Moore, who recently posed for Bazaar fashion magazine, looking younger and hotter than all three of her teenage daughters, is getting back to work. Moore has taken on a small, select spate of roles in the past few years, after a decade of reigning as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses. Now the drought is over, and she’s agreed to star in two upcoming independent films.

Moore and former indie “it” girl Parker Posey will portray sisters in Happy Tears, a drama about two women dealing with their father who suffers from dementia. The film begins shooting in Philadelphia this month.

ASHTON Kutcher has revealed why he fell in love with Demi Moore, his wife 15 years his senior. He says it was because she “called me on my s**t”.

The What Happens in Vegas star - who married the actress in September 2005 - revealed it was Demi’s indifference to their relationship which sparked his interest.

He said: “Demi was the first person who would call me on my s**t. She didn’t need me. She straight up didn’t need me. She wanted me, but she didn’t need me, so she could put it on the line.
“I’ve literally just been voted the world’s most eligible bachelor and I’m like, ‘I’m going off the market. I’ve found the one.’ ”

Demi Moore was born 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her father left her mother, Victoria, before Demi was born. Her stepfather, Danny Guynes, didn’t add much stability to her life, either. He frequently changed jobs and made the family move a total of 40 times. The parents kept on drinking, arguing and beating, until Guynes finally committed suicide. Demi quit school at the age of 16 to work as a pin-up-girl. At 18, she married rock musician Freddie Moore; the marriage lasted four years. At 19, she became a regular on the TV show “General Hospital” (1963). From the first salaries, she started partying and sniffing cocaine. That lasted more than 3 years, until director Joel Schumacher fired her from the set of St. Elmo’s Fire (1985) when she turned up high.
