The Body has become the Face. Elle Macpherson - model, entrepreneur and some-time actress - has added another trickle to her revenue stream, named as a global brand ambassador for Revlon. She joins a line-up of spokesmodels for the cosmetics companythat includes the Hollywood hotties Halle Berry and Jessica Alba.

“Elle’s special qualities as a businesswoman, beautiful and talented model, actress and mother, represent the essence of the Revlon brand,” said David Kennedy, Revlon’s chief executive officer.

Elle Macpherson new face of Revlon

Elle Macpherson has signed up as a global brand spokesperson for cosmetics giant Revlon and will feature in print and TV advertising campaigns.

The 44-year-old supermodel’s role will also involve her promoting women’s counselling services and breast cancer research.

“Revlon is an iconic brand, bringing high quality products to women around the world and is complementary to my values. I am proud to join Revlon in its celebration of women and in its long-term commitment and support for education and research to advance women’s health and particularly to fight women’s cancers,” she said.

The Australian beauty - who is nicknamed ‘The Body’ - will join Halle Berry and Jessica Alba in endorsing Revlon.

Revlon’s president David Kennedy added: “Elle’s special qualities as a businesswoman, beautiful and talented model, actress and mother represent the essence of the Revlon brand.”

Halle Berry names newborn daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry

Halle Berry’s newborn daughter is named Nahla Ariela Aubry, her publicist Meredith O’Sullivan said Tuesday.

Nahla was born Sunday to Berry, 41, and her beau, model Gabriel Aubry, 32. It’s Berry’s first child. The couple met while shooting a Versace commercial in Los Angeles two years ago. Berry has said she and Aubry don’t plan to marry but feel fully committed to each other.

Berry, whose credits include “Catwoman,” the Bond film “Die Another Day” and the “X-Men” movies, has won an Emmy for the 1999 made-for-TV film “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge” and a best-actress Academy Award for 2001’s “Monster’s Ball.”

Star Halle Berry names first child

Halle Berry’s newborn daughter has been named Nahla Ariela Aubry, her publicist has announced.

Nahla was born on Sunday to Berry, 41, and her model partner Gabriel Aubry, 32. It is Berry’s first child.

The couple met while shooting a Versace commercial in Los Angeles two years ago. Berry has said she and Aubry do not plan to marry, but feel fully committed to each other.

Halle Berry, “Black Pearl” to win Oscar´s Best Actress

Halle Berry, the first African-American actress to win an Oscar for Best Actress, takes on a new role. She’s just given birth to a baby girl. In our “List” today, we step closer to this celebrated artist, hailed as Hollywood’s Black Pearl.

Halle Berry was born August 14, 1966 in the state of Ohio. Her father was an African-American, Jerome Berry, a former hospital attendant. Her Caucasian mother Judith, was a psychiatric nurse. Halle Berry entered public awareness as the winner of the Miss Teen All-America Pageant. She represented her home state of Ohio. That was in 1985. A year later she was first runner-up at the Miss USA Pageant. The recognition propelled Berry into modeling. Like Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron, Halle Berry soon turned from modeling to movies. And her drop-dead good looks fueled her success.

Berry came into the movie spotlight in 1991 when she appeared in Spike Lee’s big screen production “Jungle Fever”. Her role in the film was her big screen breakthrough. Success followed success after that. In 1999 she earned critical acclaim playing an actress in the title role of the HBO drama “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge”. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress as well as an Emmy.

3 Looks: Marisa Tomei

I saw an article the other day about the top ten hottest Oscar winners. I forget who ranked exactly (it was a Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie 1-2 punch), but I was absolutely appalled that Marisa Tomei might be absent from such a list. She is in my opinion, flat out the most naturally beautiful broad on the planet. Whenever I see her, my head kind of snaps back like that critic in RATATOUILLE and then when I return I’m skipping hand in hand with her through a forest where friendly bears and rabbits play tennis and hopscotch by the pond.
