Hayden Panettiere Says Drinking Age is Too High

She’s been hard at work up in Vancouver, British Columbia on her latest project “I Love You Beth Cooper.” And now  Hayden Panettiere is back in the States.

Last night, the “Heroes” hottie was spotted treating her mother Lesley to a late dinner at the celebrity-friendly Katsuya restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

And in a recent interview, Miss Panettiere made it known that she’s none too keen on the drinking age in America.  She told press, “I can buy porn or kill someone in war but I can’t have a glass of wine. If I could change one thing about America, it would be its ridiculous age limits on things.”

Music Review: Leona Lewis - Spirit

I became an instant fan when I watched Leona Lewis perform on X-Factor for the first time, and every one of her performances after that only made me a bigger fan. She’s definitely got the ‘X-Factor’, alright, with such a powerful voice which can also be so sweet and emotional that she’s moved me to tears more than once with her performances even while she amazed me with her skill.

I can honestly say I have never heard another singer who has the voice, talent, emotion, power, and control that Leona Lewis has, and of course, I couldn’t get enough of her. I wanted to hear more from her, and I waited anxiously for the release of her debut album, Spirit. But before I managed to obtain a copy of her debut album, her first single, “Bleeding Love”, was already being played constantly on the radios. I must admit that I was disappointed when I heard it, because while it was a great song and a catchy one in its own right, it was not what I would have expected of someone of Leona Lewis’ ability.

HAYDEN PANETTIERE ADDS HER NAME TO ‘KISS LIST’

THE SKINNY: HEROES’ Hayden Panettiere will star in big screen adaptation of NAOMI AND ELY’S NO KISS LIST, a novel by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, reported Variety.

Fox Atomic purchased the novel with Panettiere attached, for producers Alexandra Milchan, Lesley Vogel and Emily Gerson-Saines.

KISS LIST is a horror-thriller about a cheerleader… just kidding… it’s about Naomi and her gay best friend Ely who make up a list of people deemed off limits for kissing, but when Ely lays one on Noami’s boyfriend, the proverbial pom poms hits the fan.

Hayden Panettiere awarded for fighting for dolphins

Washington (ANI): American actress Hayden Panettiere has been honoured with an activism award by the Hollywood Office of the Humane Society of the United States, for her active protest against the annual dolphin slaughter in Southwestern Japan last year.

Panettiere was awarded the Gretchen Wyler Award, which is given annually at the Genesis Awards to a celebrity who brings attention to animal causes. Wyler, who founded the awards and was also an actress, died of breast cancer in May 2007, just two months after presenting the first award to Paul McCartney.

OK, so her rendition of the national anthem last July may not have been great, but Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has a special place in our collective heart — turns out she’s a supporter of D.C. voting rights. Courtesy of Shadow Representative Mike Panetta and Shadow Senator Paul Strauss, we’re happy to see Hayden doing her part for our cause.

The PSA above also serves as a welcome reminder to donate to the Statehood Delegation Fund on your 2007 tax return. The money goes to Panetta, Strauss and Shadow Senator Mike Brown to fund their noble efforts at promoting voting rights and statedhood for the District — and is the only money the volunteer reps get.

Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere Counts Hilary Duff As A Closer Friend

Hayden Panettiere, 18, has been acting on television since she was eleven months old; she’s been in the business for as long as she can remember.

Hilary Duff first appeared on television at the age of ten — not working quite as long as Hayden, but she still is an industry veteran at the young age of twenty now.

So it comes as no surprise that Panettiere and Duff are pals; Hayden talked about her in a recent interview with Seventeen Magazine and had nothing but praise for her friend.

Hilary Duff Heads Out to Hyde

Looking funky in a fedora,  Hilary Duff was spotted as she stepped out of Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles after a night of partying on Monday (March 10).

Earlier in the day, sporting the same grey tanktop, jeans and headpiece, the former Disney queen was busy running a few errands, stopping briefly to chat it up with an LAPD officer.

In related news, Miss Duff just recently received high praises from a fellow rising young star - Hayden Panettiere.

The Heroes hottie told in an interview with Seventeen magazine: “Hilary is one of the closer people to me in the business. She’s a very down-to-earth person. She’s humble, very sweet — she’s low-key.”
