You Bet Holly Willoughby Is The Sexiest Woman Of The Year

Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the price of Holly Willoughby being named as FHM’s sexiest women of 2008 from an original quote of 20/1 to 6/1 favourite, following a string of sizeable wagers.

The only other ladies who are attracting large bets are Bond babe Olga Kurylenko at 12/1, Keeley also priced at 12/1 and Cheryl Tweedy, who is a 14/1.

“Punters have piled on Holly to win and her odds have been drastically reduced, much like her neckline,” said William Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

I agree with whoever said that sex appeal in a woman is 50 per cent what she’s got and 50 per cent what people think she’s got - particularly if what I think she’s got is low standards.

We all know what Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby’s got but does that make her a worthy favourite with Hills to be named FHM’s sexiest woman of 2008?

Punters clearly think so - she’s been backed down to 6-1 in a plunge more dramatic than her neckline, making her even more fancied than new Bond babe Olga Kurylenko and glamour model Keeley Hazell.

Myleene Klass is favourite for over 50s

I’M A Celeb star Myleene Klass has been voted all time sexiest female - by men over 50.

The 29-year-old singer, famed for showing off her curves in a white bikini on the reality TV show in 2006, beat Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby, 26, Question Of Sport host Sue Barker, 51, and English Patient actress Kristin Scott Thomas, 47, came third and fourth respectively.

TV cook Nigella Lawson, 48, came in fifth.

The top 10 was completed by Joanna Lumley, Kelly Brook, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Minnie Driver and Cindy Crawford.

John Sewell, spokesman for onepoll.com, who commissioned the poll, said: “Myleene is a very sexy lady but we were surprised that she came top.

Holly Willoughby showers for World Water Day

Dancing on Ice presenter Holly Willoughby is taking part in a campaign to help save water and promote World Water Day on 22 March.

To launch the event Willoughby took part in an outdoor shower at Trafalgar Square in London in a bid to urge people to cut their shower time down to three minutes.

The campaign coincides with the release of a report commissioned by Ariel and Waterwise, the UK’s leading authority on water efficiency, which revealed that on average nine litres of water is used per minute in the shower.

It has been estimated if everyone in Britain reduced their shower time to three minutes, a collective six billion litres of water would be saved each day.

Holly Willoughby supports World Water Day

Holly Willoughby has urged the British public to support World Water Day by taking showers in three minutes.

The 27-year-old Dancing On Ice host hopes that 90 billion litres of water can be saved on this Saturday’s UN World Day for Water.

“Because [the UK’s] such a small country and there are so many people in the country, the amount of water per head is so minimal - we’ve got less water per head in the South East of England than they have in Sudan,” Willoughby explained.

The presenter said that shower times needed to be cut by four minutes to give the desired effect.

“The average is about seven minutes for men and about 7.2 minutes for a woman so it’s not that much difference. Every minute you spend in the shower you use nine litres of water.

Holly Willoughby caught Simon Cowell’s eye and is set to sex up The X Factor.

The Dancing On Ice host, 27, will front ITV2 spin-off The Xtra Factor after impressing the TV mogul with her presenting skills - and low-cut dresses.

A show source said: “Holly is close to signing.

“She is the woman Simon wants and is pals with Fearne Cotton, who presented it last year.” Holly admitted considering “a number of exciting offers” while talking this week at the Royal Television Awards.
