Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Do Parenthood In ‘Shifts’

JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY are working shifts so they can look after their baby twins without the help of a nanny.

The couple is determined to bring up three month olds Max and Emme without any help, and are enjoying the experience of “figuring out” parenthood, singer Anthony reveals.

The 39-year-old says, “It’s just us, man. We’re figuring it out and having a great time She (Lopez) expects me to help and she makes no bones about it. I get the late shift. I get literally from 10 on because we don’t have a nanny. It’s just me and Jennifer figuring it out. From 10 p.m. to 8 (a.m), that’s my shift.”

Jennifer Lopez refuses to hire a nanny

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly refusing to hire a nanny for her baby twins because she wants to be a full-time mother.

Lopez initially hired help to take care of her newborn boy and girl in February. However, the singer and actress won’t bring in a replacement nanny because she wants to take care of them herself.

“She’s beyond hands-on,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

JENNIFER LOPEZ - LOPEZ TO HELP SICK CHILDREN

Singer/actress JENNIFER LOPEZ is to co-ordinate and host a fundraising gala to help sick children - insisting her baby twins have inspired her to “do something for the world”.
The star gave birth to Max and Emme in February (08), her first children with husband Marc Anthony, and she is convinced becoming a mother has made her want to do more charity work.
Lopez has now agreed to host the third annual Noche de Niños gala to benefit the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She will also be helping to co-ordinate the fundraising event which will feature performances from her husband.

It looks like  Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony weren’t the only celebs in the crowd with a newborn at home…  Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman were spotted checking out the latest looks at the Christian Dior fashion show last night.

The happy parents were spotted at Gustavino’s in New York City while little Max was presumably in the care of a babysitter.

Sex and the City Inspired by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

“Sex and the City: The Movie” debuts in London Monday night. The cat will be out of the bag, so we’re free to let loose now at least somewhat on what happens in Michael Patrick King’s very well made, funny movie.

The last time we did this, the New York Daily News got frightened, bypassed their movie reviewer, and put a feature writer’s notes on the front page and passed it off as a review. Tsk, tsk. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again.

But I digress: People keep asking me if someone dies in this film. The answer is: No. No one’s even sick, for that matter. This is an urban myth. All the characters remain alive and breathing, ready for a sequel. Or a sequin.

Is there a happy ending? You’d better believe it. King and Warner Bros. are counting on at least two sequels. They will have them. This installment satisfies a lot of questions from the TV series but leaves the door open ajar.

Jennifer Lopez Denies Reailty Show Rumors

Jennifer Lopez is saying that she does not have a reality show in the works for TLC. She insists that the upcoming show is strictly about making a fragrance.

J. Lo says, “There is no reality show at all. We would not have camera’s in our house. It’s just not our thing. That might be fine for other people, but not for us.”

When TLC made the announcement for the show, their press release said the series will “deliver a slice of [Jennifer’s] life that audiences have never seen before, as she takes on her career and launches a new fragrance while trying to juggle her new responsibilities as a first time mom.”

Commenting on the release, J. Lo said, “I wanted to die. I was talking about doing a show with TLC about the making of a fragrance…Well, we’ll see, we’ll see.”

NBC 5 hires Jennifer Lopez as new meteorologist

KXAS-TV/NBC 5’s March decision to fire meteorologist Rebecca Miller after nearly 17 years with the station incited a stormy response from viewers. But expect clear skies ahead when the station’s newest hire Jennifer Lopez, a network meteorologist on The Weather Channel since 2000, begins in June.

Lopez, a native of St. Augustine, Fla., was hired after a nationwide search. She will forecast and present the weather during NBC 5 News from 5-7 a.m. weekdays.

The similarities between the meteorologist and the actress/singer Jennifer Lopez end with the name. The meteorologist’s husband is a Southwest Airlines pilot and on military leave to help relocate a Navy DC-9 squadron from Atlanta to Fort Worth.

Gwen Stefani ranked most appealing female musician/designer

Gwen Stefani is sitting pretty among female musicians who also have contemporary fashion or accessories lines.

According to a poll conducted by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, Stefani has the most overall appeal, with 57%. She beat out Mandy Moore, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Lopez who took the 2nd through 4th spots respectively.

Tom Cruise to be godfather to Jennifer Lopez’s twins

JENNIFER Lopez wants Tom Cruise to be godfather to her newborn twins, and has persuaded her husband Marc Anthony to give Cruise the role despite his Scientology beliefs.
The Latino star gave birth to son Max and daughter Emme on February 22.

A source said: “Tom is delighted. Marc wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to have a Scientologist as the kids’ godfather, especially as he and Jennifer are both Catholic. But in the end Lopez managed to convince him to agree.”

Cruise, who is an active follower of bizarre sci-fi cult Scientology, has already showered the newborn twins with gifts.

He splashed out $200,000 on designer christening outfits for Max and Emme, ordered a giant fish tank for their nursery and gave them complete Disney DVD box sets.
