Katherine Heigl’s Movie Star Ambitions

Keeping herself busy,  Katherine Heigl spent Saturday afternoon (May 10) running errands close to her Los Feliz home.

The Isobel Stevens actress, who’s rumored to be thinking about leaving Grey’s Anatomy, seemed to be in good spirits as she smiled and chatted with a friend.

Clad in a white newsboy cap, Heigl left Gelson’s Market with three carts full of goodies - receiving help to her car from the store’s staff.

Katherine Heigl Wants to Leave “Grey’s Anatomy”

Los Angeles (CMR) - Bang Media reports that Grey’s Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl, wants to shed her Dr.

Isobel Stevens role. A source revealed to Us Weekly, “She’s working really long hours and is ready to move on. She’s a smart one.”

The 29-year-old Knocked Up actress is cautious on the move though. The insider added, “She saw what can happen with someone like [“Friends” star], Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can’t seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early.”

Katherine Heigl Gets Ugly

With all the projects she has going on, it’s hard to believe that  Katherine Heigl has time to breathe.  And she was spotted yesterday taking a quick break from her current film.

The “27 Dresses” babe grabbed a quick bite to eat along with some of the crew members from her new movie “The Ugly Truth” at Stanley’s Restaurant, located across the street from the film’s set.

Katherine looked sexy and chic in a black capsleeve polo-style top with a pair of dark belted trousers and her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

KATHERINE HEIGL’s romantic comedy 27 DRESSES is the U.K.’s number one film for a second week.
The movie, in which Heigl plays a serial bridesmaid looking for love, remains Britain’s most popular film after taking GBP1.03 million ($2.06 million) at cinemas over the weekend (04-06Apr08).
Comedy Son Of Rambow debuts at two with GBP900,000 ($1.8 million), while dance film Step Up 2 The Streets falls a place to three with GBP880,000 ($1.76 million).

Katherine Heigl’s ’stressful’ wedding

Katherine Heigl says planning her wedding was “stressful”.

The ‘27 Dresses’ actress, who married musician Josh Kelley last December, was desperate to have a classic ceremony that she could remember fondly.

She said: “Planning my wedding was definitely stressful. The seating chart!

The calligraphy! I had to wear a corset for sure. Anything I can keep in place I will. Old Hollywood is my favourite kind of look. I want to be able to look back on the pictures 10 years from now and still love them.”

Katherine, who met Josh when she was cast in a video for his 2005 single ‘Only You’, revealed the pair had an instant connection and she determinedly pursued him.

Katherine Heigl Is Too Lazy to Be Religious

Katherine Heigl is soooo busy being a celebrity, she doesn’t have time for things like religion or church. Heigl, who born a Christian but converted to the Church of the Latter-Day Saints after the death of her older brother Jason, she’s “too lazy” to follow the religion.

She says, “I still love the theology of the Mormon religion and I think it is a wonderful way to grow up. But I think any real commitment to religion takes time, effort and energy. I just got really lazy and it’s hard to get yourself up on a Sunday morning.”

Hey at least she’s being honest! Other celebs would just stage photo ops at church and call the paps to make they get their picture taken.

She says: “I understand what it is I am trying to sell and what it is I want people to buy. I’m never going to be a size two (U.K. size six) but I do try to maintain a certain look that appeals.

Grey’s Anatomy Star Katherine Heigl Tells All About New Movie 27 Dresses

THE old saying “always a bridesmaid, never a bride”is the driving force of new romantic comedy 27 Dresses, about a woman who spends her life attending other people’s weddings.

But the film’s star Katherine Heigl proves this couldn’t be more wrong.

A self-confident, impatient go-getter, the Grey’s Anatomy regular says she got so bored waiting for her singer-songwriter boyfriend Josh Kelley to propose, that she demanded to know what his intentions were.

She said: “I knew early on how much I adored this person and when I tried to imagine my life without him I really couldn’t. So it felt very real and very right pretty early on. I didn’t want to just date, I wanted to move forward.”

She even went and picked out the diamond for her ring.

“I always felt it’s better to just tell somebody how you feel,” said Katherine, who met Josh when she was cast in the video of his 2005 hit, Only You.
