Paris Hilton won’t be the only groupie on tour with the Madden boys for long. Mischa Barton, who dates guitarist Taylor Rocke of Rooney who opens for Good Charlotte, is on board for the UK leg of trip. And Paris is not happy about it.
She just wants to be the center of attention at all times. Paris is the only reason people even know about this tour going on, because there are pictures of her in a different city every other day.

Hollywood beauty Mischa Barton has hired a personal trainer in a bid to clean up her act following her drink-driving conviction.
The 22-year-old former The OC star was recently pictured relaxing on a beach in Los Angeles - but she has now hired a trainer to raise her fitness levels.
She says, “I never had a workout regime, but I have now hired a personal trainer because I feel my energy level is better when I work out.”

Washington (ANI): Mischa Barton has officially joined the list of other famous starlets charged with DUI. The former OC star has been charged with four misdemeanor counts stemming from her December arrest in West Hollywood. According to court documents, the actress is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while having a 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol level, driving without a valid license and possession of marijuana (28.5 grams or less).
“We are pleased that the District Attorney’s Office has very carefully reviewed all the evidence in Ms. Barton’s matter and has chosen to file only misdemeanor charges against her,” E! Online quoted Barton’s attorney, Anthony Salerno, as saying in a statement released by her publicist.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Mischa Barton, who on “The O.C.” played a wealthy teenager in idyllic Orange County, got a dose of reality Tuesday when she was charged with four misdemeanors related to a drinking and driving arrest last year.
The former star of “The O.C.” was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while having a 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol level, driving without a valid license and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana, according to court papers.
In a statement, Barton attorney Anthony V. Salerno said he was pleased his client was only charged with misdemeanors.
“The D.A.’s office is to be commended for treating this case the same as it would any other matter; Ms. Barton has received no special treatment,” Salerno said.
Barton was arrested Dec. 27 in West Hollywood after sheriff’s deputies saw her car straddling two lanes of traffic and failing to signal for a turn.

Mischa Barton is urging us to help change the lives of millions by swapping bottled water brands, as part of World Water Day.
The LA starlet is backing the Switch for Africa scheme by appealing to Brits to ditch their usual water and buy a bottle of ‘One’ water, an ethically bottled water brand which sees all profits go towards providing clean, safe drinking water for villages and schools in Africa.
There are currently 1.1 billion people worldwide who don’t have access to clean drinking water and 2 million people die every year from diseases related to unsafe water.

LONDON (Hollywood Today) 3/23/08 – Mischa Barton may have portrayed a spoiled California teenager on “The O.C.,” but the native Londoner is speaking out to her fellow countrymen in the United Kingdom, encouraging them to switch their bottled water brands in the interest of charity.
Coinciding with the U.N.-created World Day for Water, which fell on Saturday, Barton was named an ambassador for The One Foundation, which uses proceeds from its bottled water brand to provide clean drinking water to impoverished Africans. The company also produces a brand of condom, which it donates to anti-HIV organizations in Africa. Currently, the One brand of bottled water is only available for sale in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Hollywood star Mischa Barton is about to swap Stateside for Wearside as she stars in a modern take on Alice in Wonderland.
As reported in the Echo, the former OC actress is taking the lead role in the film Malice in Sunderland – a modern-day re-working of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, based on Wearside.
The project had been due to start in 2003 with Ozzy Osborne’s daughter Kelly in the lead role, but was dogged by lack of funding.
But producer and financier Future Films joined forces with U.S. producers Pierce/Williams Entertainment, and now shooting is set to begin in May or June.
