New York (ANI): Celebrity trainer Robb Parr, who has moulded the likes of Madonna and Naomi Watts to get into shape, has revealed that he turned Demi Moore from a fat-kneed, thunder-thighed girl into a ravishing knockout babe. Moore’s former trainer Parr has claimed that when the actress came to him, she needed some major work on her legs and he whipped her into shape.

In his upcoming exercise book, “Star Quality,” Parr divulged how he worked on the ‘Ghost’ beauty to make her look stunningly slim on screen. “[Demi] lacked a defined waist, carried too much meat on her thighs, and was, by movie-star standards, thick overall. To taper her waist, we decided to accentuate her shoulders, creating a V-shape. We trimmed her thighs, shaving off some of the excess fat from above her knees, and accentuated her butt, further emphasizing her waist,” the New York Post quoted him, as writing in the book.

Demi Moore Joins Parker Posey and Josh Hartnett in Upcoming Films

Husky-voiced actress Demi Moore, who recently posed for Bazaar fashion magazine, looking younger and hotter than all three of her teenage daughters, is getting back to work. Moore has taken on a small, select spate of roles in the past few years, after a decade of reigning as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses. Now the drought is over, and she’s agreed to star in two upcoming independent films.

Moore and former indie “it” girl Parker Posey will portray sisters in Happy Tears, a drama about two women dealing with their father who suffers from dementia. The film begins shooting in Philadelphia this month.

Ashton Kutcher reveals why he fell for Demi Moore

ASHTON Kutcher has revealed why he fell in love with Demi Moore, his wife 15 years his senior. He says it was because she “called me on my s**t”.

The What Happens in Vegas star - who married the actress in September 2005 - revealed it was Demi’s indifference to their relationship which sparked his interest.

He said: “Demi was the first person who would call me on my s**t. She didn’t need me. She straight up didn’t need me. She wanted me, but she didn’t need me, so she could put it on the line.
“I’ve literally just been voted the world’s most eligible bachelor and I’m like, ‘I’m going off the market. I’ve found the one.’ ”

Harrogate youngster next Charlotte Church?

A TALENTED young singer from Starbeck has caught her first glimpse of the international stage at just 12 years old.
St Aidan’s High School pupil Eleonore Cockerham was invited to Rome to perform in front of an audience of nearly 200 of the world’s leading lawyers.

She received a standing ovation at the Presidential Dinner of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers after an invitation from the group’s president, David Salter of law firm Mills & Reeve.

Mr Salter is organist and choirmaster of St John the Baptist Church in Knaresborough, where Eleonore is a member.

He said: “She is an absolutely outstanding performer with a degree of confidence and composure rare from someone of her age.

Charlotte Church returns to classical roots

CRAZY Chick Charlotte Church is ditching her pop career to return to her classical roots.

The Welsh singer, 22, is having secret singing lessons to re-tune her voice back to its best.

And she wants to relaunch her classical career with an album because she’s tired of being a pop princess.

A friend said: “Charlotte wants to get back to the songs that launched her career in the first place.

“She’s fed up with the pop stuff she’s done and the scene has moved on since then anyway.”

Charlotte found fame at the age of 11 when she was discovered on TV and dubbed the Voice of an Angel.

Charlotte Church ditches pop for classical revival

CHARLOTTE CHURCH is to ditch her pop image for a return to her classical roots, according to reports.

It has been almost a decade since Cardiff-born Charlotte shot to fame as a fresh-faced teen with her debut album Voice of An Angel.

More recently, however, the former child soprano, now mum to seven-month-old Ruby, has turned her back on classical music, carving out a successful career for herself as a pop singer.

It has now emerged that the 22-year-old wants to change all that with a sensational return to the classical roots that made her a household name.

Fans of Charlotte’s last night said they would be thrilled to see her revisit the genre that propelled her to international stardom, while her Cardiff-based childhood singing tutor welcomed the idea.

Louise Ryan, who has taught the star since her Voice of an Angel days, said: “Of course it’s a good idea [for Charlotte to go back to classical].

Cerys Matthews - the natural beauty

CERYS Matthews is showing some bare-faced cheek – by ditching her make-up.

The Pembrokeshire- based singer, 38, is fronting a campaign for Brecon Carreg mineral water, encouraging women to go au naturel for a day to raise cash for the British Skin Foundation.

“We’re so used to all these images of perfection that we’re at the point where we don’t go out without make-up, which is ridiculous,” she says.

“I’ve got a daughter who’s four and she’s make-up mad. She’s into Shakira in a big way. It’s spooky how quickly she’s jumped aboard the ‘sexy painted lady’ look. I want her to grow up knowing she’s absolutely perfect just as she is.

“I like Tilda Swinton not wearing make-up on the red carpet and I hate it when people make fun of that. I think we forget how beautiful we can be without make-up, when you’ve been for a walk in the country and you’re glowing naturally.”

But that doesn’t stop mother-of-two Cerys feeling insecure about her appearance.

Cerys Matthews not arrested earlier today

In an amazing story it has been revealed that Cerys Matthews, 39 from Cardiff in Wales, has not been arrested by Police today.

The second Cousin of Karen, [mother of Shannon, the schoolgirl who disappeared for more than three weeks], Cerys remains the only member of the Matthews family to remain at Liberty this evening.

So far there have been no fewer than 10 arrests within the immediate Matthews Clan. First up we had Michael, Shannon’s Uncle. The former computer programmer, was arrested when Shannon was found by police in the base of his bed. Then came Craig Meehan, Karen’s young lover, charged with having Child Porn on his laptop. Then came the mother herself, arrested for attempting to pervert the course of justice. Throw into the mix Amanda Hyett, Craig’s sister, Alice Meehan Craig’s mum, Peggy Taylor, Shannon’s Step-Auntie from her mother’s second marriage and Lucy Matthews, a cousin from Karen’s fourth marriage and you get quite a collection of Vagabonds and Fly by Nights.

Mischa Barton hires personal trainer

Hollywood beauty Mischa Barton has hired a personal trainer in a bid to clean up her act following her drink-driving conviction.

The 22-year-old former The OC star was recently pictured relaxing on a beach in Los Angeles - but she has now hired a trainer to raise her fitness levels.

She says, “I never had a workout regime, but I have now hired a personal trainer because I feel my energy level is better when I work out.”
