The Grammy winner recently joined Maroon 5 for a new version of the band’s “If I Never See Your Face Again.”

The seen here is from the video shoot where and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine had to act out an on-screen romance.

“It was fun, but it was difficult to get serious for the seductive scenes because Adam and I are friends,” said of the shoot. “We would bust out laughing on every other shot — that was the best part.”

The track hits radio on May 13 and will be available on iTunes next week before being added to re-issued version of Maroon 5’s “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,” (due out in June) and ’s own “Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded” (dropping in July).

Anyone that pays even the mildest attention to hip-hop along the Front Range knows most shows are relegated to small and mid-size venues like the Ogden Theatre, Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom or Boulder’s Fox Theatre.

That’s what made Sunday night’s concert such a thrilling anomaly: the star-studded lineup of Kanye West, , N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco actually filled the gargantuan Pepsi Center, a feat few acts outside of Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige (whose tour will skip Denver this year) can accomplish.
